Licensed by the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) since 2006, I’ve been originating loans from the start. Today I’m a Broker-Associate with Keller Williams Premier Luxury and a Mortgage Loan Originator with Huntington Group. Something changed for my husband and me, too. In 2006, before I held any license, I sold my Tennessee home, on my own, in a falling market. Then we moved to Los Angeles with our two dogs and no family nearby, and started over. We rented in Woodland Hills, then eventually bought our first California home here in West Hills. Starting over taught us that change doesn’t need to hold us back. We can move forward with the right people by our side.
Being the client nobody listened to? That happened to us, too. In 2013, before I was practicing real estate, we sold that home and bought another at the same time. We told our agent what we believed the house needed before listing. The agent waved it all off. That cost us far more stress than it should have. It’s one of the reasons I started practicing real estate.
It’s also why I built The One Plan. Your sale, your purchase, and your loan, alone or together, run as one project. You get a call and a written summary every week, with the next decision named. Every choice is one you understand before you make it. You make the decisions. I manage the plan.
